The centre of the village, marked by an unusual and distinctive structure which is the 16th century pump. All of the buildings around the square date from the 15th-16th centuries, among them the Bull Inn which provides a wonderful warm welcome whatever the time of year. For most people it might come as a pleasant surprise to find that the Bull Inn is the night-life at the heart of the village. It is an enormous contrast to the life-style that most of us are used to, and surely one of the great reasons why people flock here.... to find some serenity.
