This is where it gets exciting. Imagine this in medieval times, finally entering the village, -one of the biggest attractions in the known world. You are standing in history! This is the bottom of Little Walsingham High Street, and we're just two minutes walk from the very end of your pilgrimage. Looking straight ahead you have the choice of entering the High Street, or bearing slightly left to Friday Market where you can find the Roman Catholic Pilgrimage Bureau and the RC parish church. To your right is Church Street that leads to the Anglican parish church (well worth a visit because of its 14-15th century origins). Just behind you, -and on your left, are the remains of the Franciscan Friary founded in 1347.
