Here's a view of the Abbey grounds in mid winter. Phone Tourist Information for opening times as you can't guarantee to turn up between 9am-5pm out of season and hope to get in. Whenever you come, please budget for at least an hour of your time to be spent walking the grounds and soaking up the atmosphere.

The visible remains are of the West end piers and part of the East end, the original building's length being some 244ft. Come back soon to see a completed winter tour, then a much more detailed summer visit.
